I was looking for a bag for my ASUS G73 laptop and knew there were problems finding one at the box stores. After reading many forums, I came across SLAPPA. have this bag for 2 years now and its with me everywhere I go. funny because when it first arrived I almost returned it because I thought it was bigger then what I needed, but now I use it for everything. Back and forth to work, night classes, weekend travel. It is a very well build bag and I continue to get lots of compliments on the unique look.

Dominick, Thank You so much! I think I am more excited about this bag than the new HP 17.3 laptop I bought to put in it! I bought the matching 17" sleeve too which fits my 17.3 perfectly. Not that it's needed but for double protection, I store the laptop in the sleeve and then the loaded sleeve fits nicely in the front laptop compartment. I don't understand why the laptop manufacturers never thought of providing us with superior protection for our investment but I am sure glad Slappa did! Way to go!

How about some cases for cell phones - sunglasses - flash drives - IPods - I'd be happy with an XXL Slappa t-shirt for now so I can help advertise these golden finds! For now I guess my Facebook posting will have to do.

The advertised quality of the bag is what sold me, and I bought one for my Alienware M17xR2. It is a very nicely built bag. Looks like it is very sturdy. I have a couple of issues with the bag that could be fixed with a minor redesign. First, the inner laptop pocket is too small for the M17x (a 17" notebook, which should fit as this bag is advertised for 17" notebooks). It fits, but you have to shoe-horn it in the pocket. Then, once in, you find the nice top flap that velcros over the laptop no longer velcros because the laptop is too big for the pocket. So, you have to leave it loose.

Second, and the biggest complaint, is that this bag touts itself as big, and can hold a ton of stuff, including two laptops. It can. The problem is how the outer case flap secures itself to the bag. It is only secured by two plastic clasps in the front. With heavy equipment in the bag (my M17x or as they advertise, two notebooks, or a bunch of gear ,etc), when you lift the bag by the top handle, the weight in the bag tries to separate it from the flap. The two plastic front clasps (when adjusted all the way tight) hold it ok, but the top of the flap cover (where the handle is) is not secured to the bag in any way, and the bag tends to drop away from the top flap, which is now bending under the stress of the weight. It also causes the front flap of the bag to bend and curl under the stress of the weight, and looks bad.

What needs to happen is to have plastic clasps on the TOP SIDES that securely connect the bag body to the top flap. That way, when lifted, the bag and the flap are one unit and the weight and stress are evenly distributed.

It's a big bag that can hold lots of stuff, and can get heavy with two 17" notebooks, but the current design doesn't cut it for me. BTW, if you use the shoulder strap, it's fine. It's only when you carry it with the top handle that I have a problem with!

Excellent value and good looks. I am very happy to have a nice home for my gaming laptop which I use for school.

I bought the Ballistix V2 PTAC Matrix bag for my new Alienware M17X R2. The bag is very strong, well made. The laptop fits... ALMOST. It is very tight. I figured that it would fit better, since its a 17" bag. It's kind of hard to take the laptop inside and out. But overall, it's a very nice bag.

I purchased the Ballistix PTAC Matric Laptop Bag in May of 2010 and love the way it looks. The pockets and laptop size is what sold me online. The real test will come when school starts in the Fall when I need to lug the laptop plus Chemistry books and items. Keep building more bags. Your stuff is cool looking and different.

I am an AV programmer that travels to high-end homes implementing automation systems. I needed something that could carry my 17" laptop and various cords needed to integrate the devices. This is the only shoulder bag large enough to carry all this stuff and then some. I am very happy with the product and have already bought the Matrix backpack for shorter trips and alternate use.

I have been searching for a bag for an ASUS G71 Laptop for 6 months now. I purchased it at a major Big Box Store and they did not even carry a case that would fit this laptop. The 17.1 inch screen made it difficult to find a case that would fit in. The Slappa HardBody PRO (17 inch) case could fit The ASUS no problem and even has extra room, even enough for much larger laptops. One thing that I discovered is the extra cushioning and attention to detail that this case has. You'll be surprised on how well made and how complete this product is.

It has plenty of storage compartments, a outer case that is only paralleled by metal or hard plastic cases, although those cases do not have the extra features on the inside that cradles your laptop like a baby.

Being a product designer myself, its refreshing to find a case that is stylish, yet not over the top and still is distinguishable over the thousands of boring generic cases black laptop cases.

I went in to buy the Slappa HardBody PRO (17 inch) case and saw the rest of the product line. I then fell in love with the Slappa Ballistix P-Tac PRO. The only hard decision is which one to buy. So to make my decision easier I purchased both.

Wow! I could not be happier with this bag. Sure it's a beast, but that's exactly what I needed. Most importantly, the customer service was outstanding. Special thanks to Barbara and Dominic who really worked to make certain I got the product that I wanted and that meet my needs. Solid customer service is difficult to find these days, and SLAPPA clearly excels. I won't look any farther for my next bag.

For a while now I own a Vestax VCI-300 and was looking for a proper way to carry it around from gig to gig along with my macbook. I was looking at regular laptop bags and was searching on the Serato forum to find out what was a good way to carry my gear around.Since I own a couple of CD wallets of Slappa I got the idea to look at your bags. I found a bag which I thought my gear could fit in. I checked the sizes and took the chance and ordered the Slappa Ballistix P-TAC Matrix.I was very happy to find out all the stuff I take with me when I go to a DJ gig fitted right in the Ballistix P-TAC Matrix!!!I entered the Serato forum again and told at that place how I liked my Slappa bag. I own a consumer electronic retail store so I purchased laptop cases and psp accessories. I have a slappa laptop case of my own and love it. You all make wonderful products. I worked with Barbara for my order and she was awesome. As a business owner I would love to have workforce with her dedication to customers.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new PTAC Matrix shoulder bag. I accidentally left a pair of sunglasses in there with my massive (18.4'') laptop, and several textbooks. When I accidentally dropped the bag off of my shoulder, I realized my glasses were in there, and, to my surprise, they were completely intact! The bag is excellently made, and looks stunning. I will definitely be back for more!

I am always looking for new products and this one hit the spot for my laptop. Very comfortable, roomy and super durable. I'm happy with it.

This bag is much bigger than one would expect. It has a lot of room but with that room comes a price. If you were to load the bag to capacity it would weigh A LOT!! The strap is not padded enough to be comfortable in this case. Example, I carried a 15.4'' Dell, Rane/Serato SL1, headphones and a few cables. With this loaded in there, the bag was cutting into my shoulder and breaking blood vessels. I see this as a design flaw. If you need to carry any serious weight get a bag with better padding in the strap or get a backpack to evenly distribute the weight.

I am using the Ballistix PTAC Matrix Laptop Shoulder Bag along with a Ballistix PTAC Matrix Laptop 15.4 Sleeve. Love the bag. The sleeve's specifications might want to be updated just a tad, because according to the 15.4 specs, a 16'' HP HDX should fit just fine, but I think the specs don't take in account the thickness that decreases the actual interior room inside the bag. I had to use a lot of force to get the HDX16 to fit. After using it this past few weeks, the sleeve fits the computer like a glove...so no harm. All-in-all, I love the bag and sleeve. It's HUGE, but for I am no small fry myself...so it fits me well. Holds EVERYTHING, except for my coffee mug...sigh. LOL! Email communication was great. Product arrived on time according to when it was scheduled to be delivered! Love the little device pouches you sent as a bonus...noticed they had Seattle SuperSonics on them. I live in the Seattle area, so that was an added bonus. MISS OUR SONICS!!!!!!!! Great job, guys!

I purchased the Ballistix AURA Black Laptop Shoulder Bag after reading some reviews on other websites. I have an XPS M1730, which is a massive 17'' laptop from Dell. I've had quite a bit of trouble finding bags large enough to carry this laptop with all of the peripherals, but the Ballistix AURA Black Laptop Shoulder Bag holds them all with plenty of room to spare. The notebook pocket is perfectly sized and the padding is outstanding. You can definitely expect me back for future purchases!
