does not disappoint

Filming and Photographing a hunt in South Africa. Saw the bag recommended by a poster on a frequent flyer web forum as a great carry-on bag for photogear and a laptop. The bag does not disappoint, it is nearly perfect. My only complaint... it could be significantly improved with the addition of either webbing or a bungee across the back to secure it to a rolling/spinner luggage handle.

fantastic value

I have used lots of cases, from SKB to Pellican, Think Tank--and they all make some very good products and I am a fan of them all, but after using this Crate case for my last 2 video shoots, I can tell you this case and laptop sleeve combo is an excellent value. The only thing I suggest you do immediately is order the upgraded strap because the "stock strap" is terrible. The camera dividers are very well padded and provide MANY different configurations and LOTS of space. Owning this case has more than a pleasant surprise, it's been an extraordinary value.

Best case I've seen for under $200

I've been using this for about a month now and can say it is an excellent build quality. I actually like this a little more than my Pelican laptop case because its not as industrial looking. As for the space, there is a ton and I didn't have any issue with setting up the dividers. I really like how this case is split into 2 sections, keeping my camera equipment seperate from my laptop, phone, and cords. The only think I wish this case had was additional straps on the outside for a second large tripod. I have not seen anything of this quality anywhere near this price (I'm really surprised this case is under $200).

could be great with some tweaks

The photo locker could have used a diagram of how to set up the dividers. Mine currently don't fit very well and I still can't see how they all fit together. some seem too short. Also, a double zipper on the large case zipper would be good.

Excellent Quality Case

I received my photo locker yesterday and loaded it up with 2 Nikon D700's, a dg-2 eye piece, sb-600 flash, an asf 300MM lens, and my macbook with power brick and still have TONS OF SPACE. This is a very solid case, very roomy, and great for professional shoots where you need to bring a full kit. I beleive it is very well worth the money and I am 90% happy with it. The only thing that keeps my from being 100% happy is this case can only fit a tripod that folds down to about 20". I can squeeze in my Manfratto 728B tripod, but certainly not getting anything larger in here. I have 2 velcro straps that I will use for my larger tripods. Even with this one caveat I highly recommend this case. There are so many pluses and it is very well built where I don't think you can get a better case.
