Let us tell you a little about the Ballistix PRO Shoulder Bags. First off, we didn’t hold back when it came to the design and build quality of these bags. We challenge you to find any other brand of bag that is in the $125.00 range and uses such high quality 1680 denier ballistic nylon, twill nylon inner lining with quilted stitch padding, industrial strength alloy clasps, alloy buckles, custom molded zipper pullers and outer bottom plastic runners to add further protection for your precious gear. If you want to spend less than $100 you’re most likely getting a lower grade nylon OR polyester, no inner lining and plastic clips and buckles. To find in another brand the features that we offer, you’ll likely have to spend AT LEAST $200, and most of the bags that compare to this bag are in the $300 range. How are we able to do this? Very simple, we don’t overcharge you as do most of the other brands. Now let’s talk about the features of this bag. First off, it’s a big roomy bag. 1500 cubic inches is a ton of space. You can fit one OR two 17” laptops in this bad boy (so or course it also fits 15.4” laptops), and we’ve had many customers who told us they can fit their 18” laptops in here. First off, you know you ’re getting a quality bag when your bag comes in its own bag! I was surprised about the size but it was a great surprise. So well made. I carry my laptop and it is great to know it will be well protected. It is bigger than any bag I have ever carried but I'm sure I will find uses for the space. I have one problem with it though, my son has said he is going to steal it! I also like the free sun shield for my car window. I will display the Slappa logo proudly. This bag is such a high quality bag that it should cost $200 or more. I don't know how these guys make money with the low prices they charge. I was able to check out a bunch of the Slappa range while at the show, and I'm so impressed with their stuff and the guy who runs the company (sorry forgot his name). Padding on the bag makes the heavy load comfortable to carry. alex Athens GA 8/13/2009 very nice bag, excellent quality, a couple of mods and it is perfectI like the idea of a dLSR backpack combined with a laptop backpack. These two things really go hand in hand these days. There are a couple things I would like to have different. First, I would love to have the side pockets on the top-sides of the pack to be padded. In addition to my dSLR, I carry a Canon G10 for point and shoot. There are so many times that having a point and shoot quick at hand is useful, and getting your dSLR out of the inner pack really is not a possibility. The backpack is set up to protect those items, and that is perfect....but a padded point-and-shoot pocket on the side would be great. I would gladly give up one of the mesh pockets on the lower-sides for a padded pocket about the size of the other side pockets to have my point and shoot quick at hand. There ARE two small padded pockets in the lower back compartment, but you have to open the lower flap and then open the top of the pockets to get to them. They are not easy to access with the pack on. With a padded side pocket, I could quickly sling the pack around on one shoulder and open the side pocket to grab my G10. A velcro-latching flap would be better than a zipper for this pocket, as it would protect against rain better than a zipper and be much quicker to access. Richard R. Carry aprrox 18 lbs at this time The Free Gadjet bags that came with it would have been nicer if the Caribiener clips were with them.
