I needed a bag for a very large laptop. The bag fits my computer well. My only gripe would be that although the top of the fastener is metal, the lower piece is plastic.

I purchased this bag because I have an HP HDX18 laptop, which is big. E-bags said it wouldn't fit my laptop, but I looked at the dimensions of the laptop pocket, and when I received the bag, it fit just fine. I have used this bag for a-year-and-a-half, and it is sturdy, reliable, holds a TON of stuff (inlcuding all my charging gear for my laptop, cell phone, my gps and its charger, business cards, pens, keys, notebooks, and that's without the clothes that I usually pack for an overnight business trip, which also fit). I finally have to stop using it because the sides are tearing out. There is a structural piece of plastic sewn into the bag on the left and right sides, and the nylon has started tearing at the top. Bear in mind, I have carried my 9-lb laptop, all my other work stuff, at times big books or binders, etc., and this thing lasted. It's a very attractive bag, and I really enjoyed carrying it while it lasted. I would have given it a perfect rating, but I wish it hadn't ripped. I don't think I have used it for anything more than the other people who've reviewed it, and I hope that later versions might have some webbing there, or something else a little stronger to resist tearing. Overall, great, great bag.

I was looking for a bag that fit my huge asus laptop, and it fits everything including the power brick great. The metal clasps are too noisy, I'd prefer they were plastic but at least I can be confident they won't break.

i've been a slappa fan for a few years now and have my entire cd and dvd collection in your cases. i knew you made the best disc cases so i tried one of your laptop bags. i'm a music producer so i needed something that was flexible (not a bunch of small sections but a larger bag that was more of a messenger style bag). because i needed a bag that would hold different pieces of electronics (my laptop, my hard drives and occasionally a small 16 track portable mixer) i figured i would try one of these laptop bags. i am still thoroughly impressed by you guys and don't know how you are able to offer such very high quality products at such affordable prices. i know $129 may seem a little steep but when one actually holds this bag and sees the quality throughout--the zippers, the inner lining, the rugged outer material, the padded handle--you realize this is a $200+ bag. you guys rock and i will always look to slappa first for any of my bag or case needs. thanks for making yourself a "go-to" brand.

I purchased the Ballistix AURA PRO- Black, which is presented as the Ultimate Shoulder Bag for Laptops, Gamers, or DJs. It might be true for them, but as a practical matter, this bag is simply impractical! My main issue with this bag is the lack of usable pockets. They are either too small to be practical, or so big as to not do anything for you. And they are so few in such a huge bag... The only thing going for this bag is its huge size, so people who made the mistake and purchased a huge laptop (like Dell Studio 1747) and who are stuck, since most shoulder bags don't fit that monster, will find solace with your bag. That said, the other compartment is one huge receptacle, so if your idea of organizing stuff is just throwing it into one big mess in which you cannot find anything, this is the bag for you. On the other hand, if you have many pieces of small equipment and gadgets, you will not be able to find anything in the huge pocket-less compartment. Look at the design of any other laptop bag and see how many useful pockets they include.

The bag I purchases is HUGE - but exactly what I needed for my M17x Alienware Laptop. Quality is solid, it's comfortable, and there's plenty of room for all my gadgetry.

OMG THIS BAG IS AMAZING QUALITY!!! That was my first thought when I open the box it was shipped in. First off, you know you ’re getting a quality bag when your bag comes in its own bag! I was surprised about the size but it was a great surprise. This bag will last a life time for sure, not to mention the fact that is looks really sharp. I recently received my shipment and wanted to tell you how much I love my new Ballistix AURA Black Laptop Shoulder Bag!!! It is the coolest thing ever. So well made. I carry my laptop and it is great to know it will be well protected. It is bigger than any bag I have ever carried but I'm sure I will find uses for the space. I have one problem with it though, my son has said he is going to steal it! I also like the free sun shield for my car window. I will display the Slappa logo proudly.

I bought this bag at the DJ expo last month and have been using it everyday. This bag is such a high quality bag that it should cost $200 or more. I don't know how these guys make money with the low prices they charge. I was able to check out a bunch of the Slappa range while at the show, and I'm so impressed with their stuff and the guy who runs the company (sorry forgot his name). You guys rock and I hope to see that you beat up on some of these bigger companies that make cheaply made bags. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what new bags you come out with next.

Using it for the new M17X. The bag is big enough for the beast plus all my gear, even a cooler! Padding on the bag makes the heavy load comfortable to carry.

I like the idea of a dLSR backpack combined with a laptop backpack. These two things really go hand in hand these days. There are a couple things I would like to have different. First, I would love to have the side pockets on the top-sides of the pack to be padded. In addition to my dSLR, I carry a Canon G10 for point and shoot. There are so many times that having a point and shoot quick at hand is useful, and getting your dSLR out of the inner pack really is not a possibility. The backpack is set up to protect those items, and that is perfect....but a padded point-and-shoot pocket on the side would be great. I would gladly give up one of the mesh pockets on the lower-sides for a padded pocket about the size of the other side pockets to have my point and shoot quick at hand. There ARE two small padded pockets in the lower back compartment, but you have to open the lower flap and then open the top of the pockets to get to them. They are not easy to access with the pack on. With a padded side pocket, I could quickly sling the pack around on one shoulder and open the side pocket to grab my G10. A velcro-latching flap would be better than a zipper for this pocket, as it would protect against rain better than a zipper and be much quicker to access.

Being used daily with a Dell M6300 portable workstation Carry's everything I need and more. Carry aprrox 18 lbs at this time The Free Gadjet bags that came with it would have been nicer if the Caribiener clips were with them. Overall It is the best bag so far and I have many on the Shelf in my basement

Slappa made me feel very valued and gained a lifelong customer in me by providing excellent products and also by including extras I didn't anticipate like the free laptop sleeve with my bag purchase. Selfishly, I enjoy the fact that Slappa is not available everywhere. :) The quality of your products draws attention from those that understand the value of functional quality and have a need for this type product. My cohorts and road warrior friends all say that Slappa will be the next bag they purchase after seeing mine. lol
