Rubber pulls on the zippers broke. It doesn't feel right or sit comfortably as a side bag because of its huge size. It might be due to the fact it was first designed to be a backpack but refitted as a side bag, would have been nice to have both options. Good for storage of big electronic items, but not for using for everyday living because it lacks any small compartments. I bought it looking for a solution for a bag that can be used for many things (i'm a mobile DJ), but its not easy to remove each piece and looks funny without certain parts.

I got the 4 in 1 case to house my laptop and dj gear. It was a little bulky with the laptop so I took off the back bag and just use it for the dj gear. It is a great bag that I love using!

I bought the Bulkhead Pro 4:1. It's exactly as pictured. It seems to be very high quality. I wish it had some kind of optional backpack or roller system like the 2:1. I bought the 4:1 b/c I can fit my netbook into the smaller pockets and the 17in laptop in the normal pocket. Customer service was awesome. I haven't put it to heavy use yet. There aren't any similar products .. but I do agree w/another review online that said it's tough to figure out if it wants to be a bag or luggage-like. It's very utilitarian.

Terrible build quality. The laptop compartment will not fit my 17'' Dell. 2 zippers broken within minutes of its first trip trough customs.

Best laptop bag I have ever owned, especially for beefy laptops. I have had both this version and the previous trolly version (I sure hope they make that one again). Very rugged and durable. If you have too much stuff to fit in this bag you, well, have too much stuff... My only complaint: the little rubber slappa tabs they put on the zippers come off too easily. The zippers are fine and always work, just wish those tabs stayed on better!

I have it loaded with a D-SLR camera with two lenses, cell phone, mp3 player, headphones, toiletries, clothing, batteries, and an empty spot for the computer whenever I am going to the field. It has a lot of protection on the laptop storage. It is so durable and tough. Negative: Missing internal pockets or flaps.

I needed a new laptop bag, but wasn't really actively looking for one. Quality is great (gear is surprisingly rugged) and the extra freebies (cell phone case, PSP case) were a nice surprise. Using the case for my Macbook.

The Bulkhead's 4-in-1 design is very convenient and roomy. The material seems very durable, and the price can't be beat.

The laptop bag is great, feels quite sturdy. I loved how i had extra goodies thrown in. While the product did arrive with a bit of dust and dirt, it wasn't anything that detracted from the product, given that it was a clearance item. One thing that would be nice is some internal pockets/flaps. I have plenty of small items(pen/pencils, portable HDs) that are now just floating inside the pockets

Great price; excellent quality; love that it comes apart in pieces so you don't have to carry such a large bag.

I purchased the Bulkhead 2:1 when you had it on sale because the price couldn't be beat. While I haven't yet used it for travel, I have a couple of trips coming up that I intend to use the bag for and look forward to it! I am thrilled that the bags separate and can be used individually. They are also roomy and should be able to easily accommodate all that I would want accessible!

You've made it wonderfully easy to carry my laptops and all associated gear, next it'd be wonderful to move my desktop easier without worrying about the same issues. I would love to see a Desktop case plus LCD screen carrier for desktop movement.

Quality is very very nice. You folks talked about the quality, and I'm a person who has to see it to believe it. I certainly believe it.

This bag is even better in person. stay web based, it keeps the overhead down, but advertise more in the PC community!
