Laptop Backpack

I have owned a Velocity Spyder Backpack and a Stealth laptop sleeve for just over a year now and have found both to be invaluable. I generally carry quite a few items from ratchets and multimeters toblank CDs and firewire cables, as well as my ever present MacBook Pro 15". And occasionally, I toss my Nikon in there when I don't feel like carrying around a camera bag as well. No matter where Itake my gear, New York Subway in winter, Florida Park in the rain, or random theatre or freelance audio/lighting gig in all sorts of weather, I always trust my Slappa bags to keep my stuff safe andsecure (I use a travel lock on the main compartment as well, which is a really nice option on the zippers).I have also never found a more comfortable backpack for long days before either. Couldn't be more satisfied, Thank you for making such great products. Now my wife wants some.

I have bought 3 of the Velocity Spyder bags and well I dare say there is no finer bag on the market for the purpose of hauling around a laptop. You will not be disappointed and the price isunbelievable. Good work Slappa peeps!

I bought the Velocity Spyder Laptop Bag 17" and I am very satisfied with the product. I use it for every day travel between work and classes. I enjoy the fit and space in the different compartments. I chose this bag because of its unique design - a style which is not present in most other bags. The fact it was also a laptop bag was an added bonus. While certainly not a criticism of the bag I would like to pose a suggestion as to potential future products. Making a bag like a BALLISTIX "Lite" with the sleek fit and design of the Spyder but with perhaps a side (maybe detachable) peripheral compartment for a Digital SLR camera and separate cases for lenses??? I like to travel quite a bit and having 1 bag for both with such a unique and sleek styling would be wonderful. Cheers!

This backpack is of the highest quality. I used it while riding my motorcycle to take my 17" laptop. I can fit my 17" laptop and a Macbook.

Hi! I got the Slappa Spyder Backpack few weeks ago. Overall it is what I expected it to be; cool looking, well stitched, comfortable, big enough to fit all my electronics and even more and I also had a chance to test the water resistance on the very first day I got it. I had considered other options (brands) but as it is up to now, I am very pleased with the purchase. I also got 2 (two) PSP leather pockets as an extra which are really nice except for the NY Knicks stamps on them which kinda ruined my excitement (not that I am not a Knicks fan ... it is just ugly and doesn't look good AT ALL). I have few recommendations though; not real deal breakers but the backpack can be improved A LOT! A) The zipper pulls are all metal and when walking they clink ALL THE TIME ... very annoying ... gotta leave some space between them as there are double zippers everywhere, which kinda ruins the water resistance feat. B) This backpack needs side net drinks pockets C) As well as more pockets inside the backpack itself - e.g. pocket for camera, pocket for PSP, pocket for NDS, pocket for mouse etc. - inside it's just these big spacious compartments and that's it ... dedicated standard sized pockets (for all the mentioned electronics) will do miracles for the bag Once again; there isn't any other better looking and quality backpack on the market (and trust me I did my research), and still there is a lot that can be done to make this bag the perfect travel companion. I bought this for my 15.4" MacBook Pro and work supplies. I love it! I ride a motorcycle to work when weather permits, and am so glad I chose the Spyder backpack. It is not bulky or heavy and I like the option of putting my drinks in the cooler portion during the day. I don't even feel them. I took the phone holder off because I don't use it. I am sure I will find another use for it. I have already recommended it to several other people. Awesome bag!

I purchased the lap top backpack for my son and he loves it. He likes the look of it as well as the compartments it has.

SLAPPA,Thanks for the very prompt shipment of my laptop backpack. All I can say is WOW!! This pack is fantastic: strong, roomy, fits my very large GateWay 17"€er with battery attached! Lots of extra pockets and padding, this thing is the best! I even carry a Benchmade knife in the front pocket on the strap and my lunch in the padded middle section, notes and notebooks in the back zipper section. You can carry raw eggs (I have) and drop them on the subway without breakage. So think how it protects a much hardier computer. The shoulders are well padded and I have even used this for a weekend hiking trip as it is so comfortable and protects anything one can put in it. In short, this is the best product in its category on the market, bar none. I would recommend this to pack to anyone looking for a high-end laptop carrier and even to hikers. Great price, fast delivery, incredible product. What's not to like? in fact I am thinking of purchasing a smaller bag for my daughters 15.4 notebook, not that she would be so rough on a computer as I am. I'm a U.S. Marine and I demand a lot of my equipment and expect it to perform as advertised. Slappa is one of a very few that not only perform as advertised but in fact exceed the marketing claims. The styling on the Spyder appeals to me, I'd say that's half the reason I bought it. Looks good on my back as I ride my motorcycle. Like some kind of science fiction bug carapace.

I like the backpack, but the shoulder straps were a bit narrow. I'm a fan of thicker, wider straps.

I like the product, but customer service is where I am sold on Slappa. The customer service and the way you handled my situation was above any other company I have dealt with.

You were having problems with your credit card program and your operator was great to work through the problems. Customer service like that is what will make me a return customer.

I bought a 17" spyder BaCKPACK FOR MY gATEWAY p-171X FX GAmeing laptop. I game alot, and go top lan partys, I picked this backpack for the durability, and becuase it looks cool, I wish there was a pocket on the side for bottled water etc, but otherwise love the bag

I purchased my laptop (Clevo D900C copy) from Hypersonic. I paid $70 for their case and it was absolute crap. They show a backpack on their website for $40 and it looked cheaper then my kids walmart special school backpack (ok... so even *those* were $40.. but still...). My company is still quite small but everyone who has seen my backpack loves it... I have a feeling you will be getting lots more business from us as we turnover our equipment.

I bought this backpack because of the reviews I've read. It was a bit more then I wanted to spend but took the leap thinking that if its as good as everyone says, it will be worth the money. Well I'm happy that I bought this because its an excellent backpack that is very well built and has all the little extras that make it very well worth the money. I use this to carry my 17" laptop, plenty of books and usually on my bike back and forth to campus. Highly recommended
